The fact that most 18-year-olds can't qualify for a $10,000 business or personal loan yet the federal government allows them to borrow $100,000 to attend colleges and universities that they can't afford, tells us all we need to know about the fiscal intelligence of some liberals.
I was the first person in my family to earn a four-year college degree. I didn't have student debt for two main reasons: 1) I attended a university I could afford. 2) I worked my way through college and still finished in less than four years.
There are many students who were in the same boat as me and didn't end up with debt hanging over their heads. But our brilliant Democratic Party wants to reward those who didn't make smart choices. They want to take money away from people who couldn't or didn't go to college and pay off these students' loans. They want to take money away from those students who were disciplined and didn't want college debt and force them to pay for someone else's debt.
And to me, one of the craziest things of all, is that these students don't understand that the money doesn't come out of thin air. The government will be coming after their money it will just be hidden in taxes. Choo, choo! Welcome aboard the crazy train!
