How about some truths not shared by most of the media:
- Most people who’ll receive this benefit are those who make substantially more than an average worker in the U.S. The reason for this is most of the loan debt is for people who went on to receive advanced degrees beyond their Bachelor’s. Why did many of them choose to do this? Quite simply to make more money. It was a personal decision on their behalf. They chose to go in debt more than others for personal gain and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with this. They wanted to invest more in their education in hopes of a greater income return during their lifetimes.
- No credible agency who scores spending, such as our CBO, has agreed with the Biden Administration that this expenditure will help in anyway, our inflationary woes. It’s ridiculous to think that changing who pays the bills reduces inflation. The debt isn't being cancelled it's being transferred to where democrats want it to go. It’s embarrassing to watch members of his Party and Administration openly lie about this issue. They look down and they fumble around for the right words because they know they aren’t sharing the truth. It is blatantly obvious.
- When Biden began telling everyone he was going to pay off student debt and to what amount, many smart individuals decided to stop paying their college loans in anticipation that a windfall is soon to follow. It is a fiasco right now and no one is sharing a thing on what’s happening behind the scenes. This is one of the things that caused Biden to move ahead because the cat had already been let out of the bag and the cash flow was crumbling from more and more unpaid loans.
- Make no mistake about it, people who chose an alternative course to making a living that didn’t require college degrees are now helping to pay people for going to college. They’re enriching other peoples’ livelihoods without volunteering to do so. Let this scenario sink in. Why don't we not bother using the federal government as a middleman and just let the taxpayers move the money around? Let's say one family paid for their son's technical school for plumbing and they didn't incur long-term debt while the family across the street whose son is going to medical school has debt galore. Wouldn't it be easier for the one family to take $10,000 across the street to their neighbors who qualified to receive the debt forgiveness? You know, the ones who drive luxury automobiles and are loaded with debt. Why not put a face to it? Would the family receiving the money feel at all embarrassed over the transaction? I hope so but some people are shameless. Enter the federal government. They provide a barrier for those who receive government handouts in hopes of removing any guilt. Is this integrity? The IRS is adding 87,000 new employees so there's nowhere to hide for anyone trying not to be taken advantage of by the government. Oh, and did I mention, they are arming many of the new agents. Why? Please tell me this concerns you.
I'm hoping the Supreme Court can come in and stop the non-sense. How am I receiving my Constitutional rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, if the government can pick and choose whose wallets to go after? Our democracy isn’t a smorgasbord especially when it comes to powers of the Executive Branch. Let’s face it, even Nancy Pelosi has spoken out and stated that any decisions of this magnitude should be legislated and not dictated by an Executive Order. She’s mad at Biden right now, partially because she believes he’ll get all the credit, and why isn’t the media covering their fight? I think we know the answer to this one. They refuse to make it appear the Democratic Party isn’t cohesive before the next election. Just another story buried.
There’s much more to this issue but I’ll stop at the above. The whole thing is sickening. Uneducated voters are going to take down our Republic unless we put an abrupt halt to their impact. Oh, and keep in mind, organizations like the NAACP want more of the money going to African Americans so they’re now behind the scenes pressuring the Biden Administration. I’ve said it countless times before, it is never enough when it comes to organizations such as these.
