Taxation Without Legitimate Representation

9/1/2021

I'd like for you to really think about something. At one point in our history, taxes were minimal because our forefathers partially went to war regarding increasing taxes. They were very sensitive about the issue.

Let's take a look at the way it is now. Taxes come out of our paychecks. Any money we spend is taxed. Any money we take out of savings plans like a 401k if we're struggling and in need of OUR money, is taxed. At the very time when we might need the money most, the government takes some away from us. We get hit with property taxes even though that money was already taxed when we bought the various properties. Then if liberals have their way, when we die, all the money that was already taxed, will be taxed yet again, before it goes to our families. At this point, it takes a person on average close to eight months of working just to pay all the taxes we must pay.

If democrats get their way through their latest spending plans, we'll pretty much spend almost all year not only working for our companies but also working for governments at all levels (i.e. city, county, federal, state, etc.).

And even after all of the above taxation without legitimate representation, our representatives have put us in horrific debt. A debt that future generations will have to pay off even though they didn't make the charges. We went to war once over taxes, maybe it's time to do it again.
