Our Terrible Relationship with Iran

6/20/2019

I find it ironic that Democrats are losing their minds over Trump not having as good of relations with Iran compared to the Obama Administration; which only makes sense as Kerry and Obama caved to them constantly.  Obama made a deal with Iran and they ended up holding U.S. sailors hostage. The pictures of the captives were all over the news. Begs a very important question and that is, what did the Obama Administration do about it? Nothing. We looked terribly weak and lost the respect of many allies because they no longer knew if the U.S. had the resolve to deal with issues militarily when the situation called for it.

Let's not forget Obama's nuclear deal with Iran.  Obama's team tried to pull a fast one on the House and Senate, and the American people in general, by sending Iran billions of dollars in cash. The money was sent in secret to Iran in the middle of the night. If the Iran Nuclear Deal was so great, why did they feel the need to not tell us about the cash involved in the deal.  So much for transparency.

The fact is, Iran is filled with radicals who want to wipe Israel and the U.S. off the map. The Trump Administration will never have a good relationship with Iran because there's nothing he can do to stop them from thinking we're evil. The two main things Iran fears are economic sanctions and military engagement and this is what Trump's team has been hitting them with. Their economy is in horrific shape and that's the main reason why Iran is getting so aggressive; they must have a deal which includes the U.S. or else there will be an uprising from their citizens because of living conditions.

My guess is Iran is going to push it too far hoping other countries will come to their aid but they won't. Countries like China will put a heavy boot down on the leaders of Iran telling them to back down and quit destabilizing the region. I must say, this is a time where us having at least seven military bases and even more airfields, in the Middle-East, really pays off. Iran is a very short distance from a whole lot of trouble and they know this.
