I find it disgusting that many liberals across the country want to dishonor these people by removing their names from any public property. If that's the game they want to play, then why isn't Senator Robert Byrd's name being removed from the countless buildings and bridges in West Virginia? My gosh, he was a Grand Wizard for the KKK. These crazy double-standards must stop.
But the bottom line is this shouldn't be happening in the first place. Holding people to moral standards which weren't in place at the time, is beyond insane. In 100 years, what will citizens think of our stances on things? Will we be rebuked? Will the good that we did be thrown out based on new social standards and our legacy will be demonized even though we did the best we could with what we had at the time?
This is the mentality of the Left and we'd better step up and get engaged in the fight before we lose it all. Thanks!
