First of all, let me say for the millionth time since they deserve it, politicians in the Democratic Party are shameless. Even the AP posted an article shooting down the claims by leaders of their Party. They're lying in saying that Trump is directly responsible for the CDC. Besides that, they aren't actually trashing Trump when they attack the CDC, they're attacking the people who work there. The ones who are in the labs 24/7 looking for cures while these lying politicians leave "work," at 4:00. The ones who are coordinating with key people around the country and around the world, to help save lives. They are working as hard and as fast as they can. The Trump Administration isn't negatively impacting this agency, they're doing everything they can to support it.
This could turn out to be a serious virus but the fact is, we are a much softer country now so it doesn't take much to freak people out. The Spanish Flu (1918 - 1920), killed around 50 million people around the world. Let me repeat, 50 million people. Over 600,000 people died in the U.S.
We've had over 40,000 people die one year from the common flu in the U.S. The least amount was around 3,000. Notice that neither Democrats or the mainstream media are comparing the contagion or fatality number of this new virus to our annual problem with the flu each season. Why? Because it serves them no purpose. Democrats want to scare people that the Trump Administration is endangering their lives and the media wants to use it to scare up ratings. Think of all the "crises," they've created over the last three years. Once the hype goes down from one crisis they move on to another without admitting that their previous claims were false. All the crazy things that they said might happen, don't yet for some strange reason, people fall for it time and time again.. It's ridiculous, but it's how they roll.
