The Decline of San Francisco

11/1/2018

It's no secret that California has lost a lot of companies over the last decade; which those of us on the East Coast appreciate. Texas is the state benefiting most from California's losses. Even though they're losing business because taxes in the state are the highest in the country, liberal politicians in San Francisco want to increase business taxes even more to where they can get an additional $250 million to take care of their homeless. This would mean that they would spend over $40,000 on each homeless person per year. I find this very hard to believe.

Do you really think this money would get to them? San Francisco is in debt. They do have more homeless per capita than any other city, yet liberals continue to run it. It's insane. They're in debt and they want the money to try and pay it down; it has little to do with the homeless.

Many companies already donate money to various charities, but liberals don't think it's enough. My company gives 10% of its income before taxes to churches and non-profits. But San Francisco figured since the Federal Government gave companies a tax break that they'd take the money. Companies across the country have been growing because of the tax breaks. More people have jobs and job security. These liberals are throwing their citizens under the bus because their strategy would temporarily bring in more tax revenues, but the end game is brutal; less jobs and more homeless.

I beg of the citizens of San Francisco to bring in Republican leadership and see what they can do. At this point, what do they have to lose?
