The thing about California that is interesting, is that there isn't another state where the tail wags the dog as much as theirs. Southern California is loaded with Republicans. There's a tremendous amount of farming in California and they generally like the business policies of Republicans. But, there's Los Angeles and San Francisco loaded with millions of people who dictate policies to the rest of the citizens in the state. Keep in mind, a majority of the citizens in these areas have created an environment which is atrocious. Housing is terrible. Crime is terrible. Homelessness is terrible. The amount of illegal immigrants in prison is terrible.
Someone accused of a crime might not get their day in court for a year and some of them are confined and later found innocent. And even though these areas are going down hill fast and furiously, the constituents continue to vote democrat. By its very definition, these people are insane if they expect things to get better.
Now there's beginning to be a shift. Enough citizens are fed up and Gavin might be one of only a couple of governors in history who were kicked out of office. It will be decided in September. Keep in mind, hard-core liberals love him. The media was like his own public relations department.
He should be removed from office (so should Pelosi), but liberals don't want to give up their influence and power even if it means hurting most of the citizens of their own state. How's that for integrity? No wonder there's an exodus.
