So I washed up, and washed out, in one day. And quite frankly, in looking back, I don't think I would've cut it anyhow if I would've made it further in the process. Sure everyone was extremely fit physically, but it's their mental toughness which keeps them from ringing the bell and washing out. I don't think I had that mental toughness back then that it would take to become successful with the Seals.
But, what amazes me most about the Navy Seals is that considering the dangerous aspect of some of their roles, like with Seal Team Six, they've only lost around 340 men in 60 years. Why is this? Because our elite teams aren't just the men and women on the ground taking care of tactical issues, they're surrounded by some of the smartest military minds we have (and CIA). The missions they choose to take on and the plans they come up with to execute the missions, are extraordinary.
The technology that we developed under President Trump is mind-blowing. Did you know that we have rifles which can shoot around corners? We can fly drones the size of Bumble Bees and Hummingbirds into buildings and have it use facial recognition to execute the desired enemy. Did you also know that the U.S. provides more "paid," consulting to countries around the world in law enforcement and military strategies and tactics than any other nation? Why us? Because we're the best. Sorry other countries around the world, but that's just the way it is. How about those apples? :)
