I’m sure you’ve heard by now that White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and her family were kicked out of the Red Hen restaurant because she works for the Trump Administration. Things have gotten completely out of control. Sanders didn’t do anything wrong she was just eating a meal peacefully with her family when one of the employees told the owner that Sanders was there. The owner then proceeded to berate Sanders for her complicities with Trump’s policies and told her to leave.
I guess the owner has the right to serve or not serve whomever she wants but I think it was a terrible move on her part as the restaurant is being inundated with boycotts and calls for her to make an apology to Sanders.
How sad is it that we’ve gotten to this point? We can have differences of opinions yet remain civil to one another. In most cases we want the same things we just have different ideas on how to get there.
