I hope this post makes you irate! You might have already heard but our legislators had a hidden slush fund that was used by both parties, to pay off sexual harassment victims. Not only did they get the victims to sign non-disclosure agreements so no one would find out about the settlements, but they also hid from us that our tax dollars were used to pay for their misdeeds.
The leaders of both parties have been running around talking about morals and women's rights while knowing they had this secret fund. They play by different rules than the rest of us and in no way do they truly want transparency because of what's actually going on behind the scenes.
Please do me a favor and go to your representatives' websites to get their phone numbers and call their offices. Tell them how upset you are about the slush fund and that you want the names of anyone who has tapped into it sent to your email. They work for us, let’s put them to work.
