Of course we just celebrated the greatest miracle of all but I thought you might enjoy another amazing miracle that happened to a Serbian flight attendant by the name of Vesna Vulovic back in 1972. Terrorists placed a bomb on board the flight she was working (Yugoslav Flight 364), and the explosion tore the DC-9 to pieces, but Vesna survived. She was strapped in her seat when the bomb went off and part of the plane along with her spiraled down 33,000 feet then struck a snow-covered mountain.
Her injuries included a fractured skull, two broken legs, and three broken vertebrae, one of which left her temporarily paralyzed from the waist down. She regained the use of her legs after several months of surgeries. She was also in a coma for 27 days. Vulovic was the only survivor on the flight and not only lived to tell about it, but continued working for the airline in a desk job after she recovered from the crash. Vesna Vulovic became a national hero in Yugoslavia. Could you imagine falling from the sky like that? I can tell you that I would've spent that time in a very serious conversation with God mostly asking for forgiveness for being so stupid here on earth!
