First, Trump didn't support the Accord (not a Treaty because the House and Senate didn’t approve it), because participating countries weren't living up to the standards set (i.e. China, India, Philippines, etc.), and they weren't being fined. The U.S. was already hitting its goals and was performing much better than most of the other countries. Trump said until they match where we're at that there's no reason to remain in the Accord.
Lastly, their premise that global warming has anything to do with an increase in hurricanes is COMPLETELY a lie. If you look at the last 100 years, the last 50 had much fewer hurricanes than the 50 years before. This completely negates their argument.
This is yet another example of how the mainstream media will do whatever it takes to attack Trump even if the claims are outlandish like this one.
