Wouldn’t answers to these questions be good to know so we can immediately address real immigration reform? There’s no doubt in my mind that our Federal and State governments don’t have a clue how much illegal immigration is costing our country.
Democrats not only support bringing in even more immigrants every year (we typically authorize around one million a year), they want the ones living here now to be given U.S. citizenship; of course, they do. That's pretty much 15 million more Democrats voting. Democrats/Socialists would have the power to bring our country down with unaffordable "free" things for U.S. citizens. It would work for a little while as we’ve seen with other socialists’ countries, but it never ends well. As British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher once said: “Socialism is great until you run out of someone else’s money.”
We have veterans who need better mental and physical healthcare. We could reduce our prison population by having more effective healthcare facilities across the country. The fact is, if many of the inmates had adequate mental health services (medications for Bi-Polar, Schizophrenia, etc.), they more than likely wouldn’t have committed the crimes in the first place. Almost all the mass shootings in the U.S. have been committed by someone with mental illness. There are housing projects in major cities where the buildings are delipidated because they don't have money for maintenance. Children are dying of cancer because there aren't enough hospitals like St. Jude's to take care of them.
Millions of Americans aren't being taken care of and Democrats want to bring in more people. What's especially disgusting is that places like Los Angeles who have about 25% of the homeless in our country, are taking the alleged "moral high ground" stating we should allow these people in and demonizing Republicans because they don’t agree. How about once they clean up their streets and take care of the homeless there, then they can invite more guests? This would be a more moral stance, but personally I don’t think that’s the objective; it’s mostly about seeking political gains. Party over country.
