An AWESOME, MOTIVATING, show. She said this several weeks before winning the competition. This included tough men and women from all kinds of trades.
Lia is the one I rooted for this season. She can pretty much do anything when it comes to construction, wood working, welding, etc. She served in the Army in Afghanistan and Iraq. She was a firefighter (this was when she met her husband). She learns a new trade, such as engine repair, and then does it for a year or two and then moves on to teaching herself something else. She is such an amazing person inside and out. I would love to see more women interested in the trades! I'm sure her husband is over the moon proud of her!
