Watched a true crime show and the police were baffled about who shot two people who were sitting inside a car. There weren't bullet casings. There wasn't a weapon. No fingerprints or footprints. No witnesses. They did eventually find a small piece of a rubber glove and were able to get some DNA which they found a match after several days.
Even though they had no other evidence, they went ahead and arrested the man hoping that they'd find some other evidence before it went to trial. When they brought him into the police station one of the officers noticed that there appeared to be some small red spots on the football jersey he was wearing. They took the jersey from him and tested the spots and it was blood. Not only was it blood, it was blood from one of the victims. The suspect wore the same shirt that he had on during the crime. Needless to say, he was found guilty.
