An African American grade school teacher in Georgia began talking to her 5th grade students about the NFL protest and then told them she'd never stand for the National Anthem or if she did, would do it reluctantly. Then she asked each student to write down what the protest means and for the students to let her know if they agree with her. By this point she had already singled out students who had put their hands over their hearts during the pledge of allegiance and they were being called racists and KKK members by other class members.
She apologized and sent letters home with each student saying she shouldn't have pressed her beliefs. She still has her job and my guess is that there's only one reason for it. I was already worried about the liberal ideas being pushed by college professors and now I have to worry about grade school teachers; God help us!
