There are a lot of reasons for why the WSJ wrote the article and even some other heavy hitters in media are starting to realize the tide has turned and they're trying to figure out where to land safely. They've jammed themselves up with a real mess through pushing propaganda versus actual news here and around the world. They hedged their bet and went all in with far-left ideology and it's now beginning to come back and haunt them.
And why have democrats all of a sudden stopped trusting the Congressional Budget Office (CBO)? It's not a perfect agency but it's the best we have to be fiscally responsible and look out for the taxpayers (our legislators sure aren't). All Republicans, and a few democrats, want before voting on the Bill, is to wait a few days for the CBO to do their job and find out if the legislation would truly pay for itself and if not, what would the damage be? To effectively run our households don't we like to know the cost before making any expenditures? Once again, it's common sense. Dems want to hurry the vote because they know the CBO report will not look good. What about transparency? Why are democrats wanting to cram this down everyone's throats versus making good decisions about our economy and our personal livelihoods? Are they for us, or against us? Scary!
Initial leaks from the CBO do not look good for democrats. Surprise, surprise, they were using fuzzy math. Can you imagine having a job working for some of these sleazy politicians and having to spend your day spinning data to mislead constituents? All day long these politicians give short press conferences in the Halls of the House and Senate, which in most cases are blatant lies; almost as if they stopped caring about what people thought. Take Senator Adam Schiff for example. It's like he specifically removes all truths before going up to speak. The many outrageous claims he made about Trump (mostly on CNN and MSNBC), that he had concrete proof that Trump was colluding with the Russians, is a known lie.
Even now, republicans are trying to get Schiff to provide all the damaging information that he said he had and he's refusing to provide the information. Why is this? If he had actual dirt on Trump it wouldn't sit on his desk for a second it would be leaked everywhere. This is common sense and logic. He lied. He should be held accountable and I'm talking about serious charges such as treason because he risked our Republic for political gain. He is a domestic terrorists and should be removed from office and placed in our criminal justice system to air out all his substantially dirty laundry. I'm sure the FBI will cut him a deal if he narks on some of his cronies (and the dirt bag will), involved in the anti-Trump conspiracy. He's a whiny, slippery, creep, who I'm glad I'll no longer have to see when I go to heaven; tongue in cheek of course. If he does make it to heaven, I wonder if I'll get in trouble for taking him behind some cloud and whooping his ass. I learned this mentality from President Biden; he's a real scrapper (well at least in his mind).
I've got to say that although I'm going to love going to heaven, some of the better, more entertaining stories, will come from below. Maybe Bill Clinton will come clean on some of his sneaking around over the decades and of course hearing Hillary brag about how she beat the rap again and again; well at least on earth but not as it is in heaven. God will sort out the mess. We just have to hang in there and try to do the best we can, with what we can, whenever we can. For Christians we have faith in how the story will end, so we should look at anything bad as something that will soon pass. It's never as good as we think it is and it's usually never as bad as we think things are.
Slow and steady wins the race. Well, actually accepting Christ as our Lord and Savior wins the race but it doesn't mean that it won't be a difficult challenge. But let's face it, we don't become Christians to enjoy an easy life. Many of Jesus' disciples, besides getting to heaven, died horrific deaths. They could've denied Christ but instead allowed themselves to be tortured. Now that's being a true believer. I can tell you one thing, if I didn't completely believe that Jesus was the son of God I would've denounced him and saved myself the pain. For these men to accept their tragic deaths for Christ, gives me every indication that the story of Jesus Christ being the son of God, is legitimate. Fiction wasn't a genre back in 50 A.D. You ever ask a non-believer why anyone would write what was written in the Bible during a time where most people didn't read? What would be the purpose?
I guess for Dems they figured the media has their backs and would continue to bat clean-up for them by either spinning the story to limit the damage to the Democratic Party or just not covering the story altogether which has become extremely popular with the mainstream media. A reminder that several polls came back a few months after the election that stated if voters knew about Hunter Biden being investigated by the DOJ, that they either would've switched to voting for Trump or not placed a vote for President at all; either way, Trump would've won the election. I guess we know who the real colluders were for trying to overturn a legitimate election (i.e. democrats, media, etc.).
The story about Hunter wasn't a lie; it was absolutely legitimate and there's no doubt in my mind that not only will Hunter experience some jail time for a variety of illegal doings, there are people around him who will get in severe trouble as well. If the DOJ weren't trying to expand the scope of their investigation to see who else they can capture in their net, Hunter would be in jail right now for the very least tax evasion, but quite frankly I can think of over 20 criminal charges that Hunter could be guilty of and they're serious charges that could lead to prison terms over 20 years. Don't get me started on "his," artwork. Corruption knows no bounds.
When Trump was in office you'd think things were completely out of control yet great things were still being accomplished by the Republican Party regarding foreign and domestic policies. Of course they tried to make it look like Trump was going to kill everyone with his handling of COVID-19 to scare up votes. Remember they are the party of: "The end justifies the means." It appears that democrats and the media were spending so much time manufacturing crises because they couldn't stand Trump, that they lost a lot of common sense and logic (TDS), and became tunnel visioned, so they dismantled many popular Trump policies which were undeniably helping U.S. citizens just because they were Trump's. Think about it, around half the country thought our nation was doing great and loved many of the Trump's Administration's policies, but Biden went out on day one and ceremoniously ripped apart anything substantial that Trump had done even though Americans al all backgrounds were benefiting greatly from some of them. Does this sound like something a true American would do? Would you intentionally cause harm to our country because of a personal agenda? I'm guessing not. But that's probably because you're not in the public sector. We go by different and much more challenging legal system than the elitists in D.C., live under.
Our political parties caring more about power than serving their constituents, is the greatest threat to our democracy. This along with the increase of non-patriots in our country through mostly the Democratic Party sharing false narratives. Democrats and the media would've only had to spend about ten minutes doing research in social media to find that Rittenhouse is a clean-cut, gun-ho, patriot; nothing else. What's even crazier if you think about it, since they're supposed to be professional politicians, is that it's not like they were really Trump's policies, they were part of the Republican platform which means around half of Americans were perfectly fine with the direction our country was headed under him. Basically everything Trump promised, he delivered on which I wasn't expecting because of how hard the up-hill battle was in D.C. and I knew that the media would take the other side of the story no matter what the truth. The bottom line is that terrible lies were told by democrats and the mainstream media about Rittenhouse with no journalistic due diligence involved. They weren't fair to him. They put him in danger with their rhetoric. And when he's found innocent of murder charges, these same instigators will also be responsible for all the injuries and deaths which occur should unwarranted riots break out. In my opinion, Rittenhouse will sue and become one of the wealthiest people in America just like Nick Sandmann (MEGA hat high school student), became after media outlets had to pay hundreds of millions of dollars for liable and slander. I guess CNN and MSNBC didn't learn their lessons from their coverage of Nick. According to their books, I'm not sure how much more money they'll have left in their coffers. They like to see CNN and MSNBC as competitors of Fox News but that would mean they'd have to be competitive. Fox blows away the other networks in ratings. My gosh, Fox News' Greg Guttfield is getting more viewers during his nightly show than Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Steve Colbert, How did this happen? My guess is that viewers got tired of all the politics on shows which are supposed to be entertaining. I used to watch late-night all the time, mostly Fallon, but I stopped because of so much politicking going on. I miss Carson and Leno!
I can handle a narcissist if he or she can walk the talk and Trump did. His focus was on America getting its leverage back around the world and improving the lives of U.S. citizens and his record ended up being phenomenal because of his "America First," agenda. Democrats strangely hated this mindset even though there isn't a country in the world who doesn't think that charity begins at home. Why in the world should the U.S. not be selfish in some ways? Why should we be embarrassed going into negotiations with other countries knowing we're going to go after the best deal for us? Same thing has been going on for thousands of years with countries around the world and then all of a sudden, WOKE Dems think it looks bad for us to appear selfish. Obama apologized for our selfishness. Can you imagine how this made our country look like idiots? We sure do our part to help the rest of the world. We are the least selfish nation in the world; something I wish more democrats understood. The best thing we can do is to remain strong and thriving so we can continue to be a beacon around the world. So as America goes and grows, the world benefits. How many countries can you say that about?
l say it again, I don't like Trump on a personal level because he's one of the most egotistical people I've seen in my life, but quite frankly since I had more discretionary income, the economy was booming, and I felt safe, I could deal with Trump's crazy antics. I would've been glad to kick him out if he wasn't getting the job done, but he was.
I would like for you to think about something very important. Where have the terms "balanced budget," or "surplus budget," gone? Both parties have turned into irresponsible teenagers who burn holes in their pockets and in many cases, for personal financial gain through controlling the purse strings of thousands of liberal programs. Our representatives can't get any quid pro quo action if they have nothing of value so all these new programs Dems are pushing will provide outstanding career opportunities for family and friends of our legislators. Nothing new, it's been going on for years. Congress approves the budget with crazy "pork filled," line items and then there's no accountability on the other end. The wolf inevitably guards the hen house.
The bottom line is that if we don't make radical changes to our political system, we're doomed. It's broken. Both parties have kicked the can on campaign reform down the road hoping the subject doesn't breach. Our court system has been compromised as well.
Every day that we just sit back to see what happens, we lose leverage for correcting the problems. The answers to our problems cannot be found through the people who represent us. It's sad, but it's true. Many good people are in D.C. pulling their hair out trying to get things done in the system and even they know it's futile. Human nature (sin), has compromised foundational aspects of our Republic and it's time we all become patriots and make some sacrifices through our time and money, to get the job done. If not for ourselves, for all those who should be blessed with being born in the U.S. in the future.
Sorry this post was so long. A lot on my mind!
