One of the things he shared made me laugh and then when it sunk in I realized that it isn't a bad plan if I want to improve in life. He said you don't always need good role models as bad role models can sometimes be just as effective. We just need to find out the things they typically do and say and don’t do or say them.
He said it's worth spending $10 to take one of these people out to lunch and then start quizzing them. What do they read? Do they read at all? What do they watch on TV? If they watch The Housewives of Beverly Hills and read things like the National Enquirer, then we know not to watch or read those things because it's apparently not helping them climb life's ladder.
Anyhow, it was a statement he made that I laughed about but as it sunk in I realized it's a good strategy. Now if someone calls me up (like you Kathy), and asks to take me out to lunch, I'll know what you're up to! 😊
