With this in mind, there's absolutely no reason to become dependent on other countries. Democrats aren't saving the environment by outsourcing oil from other countries. It's a no-brainer. I'd love to hear a liberal explain this one.
Did you know that the Biden Administration is trying to cut deals with Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Venezuela? It's shocking that more Americans aren't speaking out about this dangerous move especially since we don't need to do it.
Think about this, there are many states with great oil reserves including New Mexico. If Biden asked each of these states if they would be okay with producing oil considering the "alleged," dangers, they'd say yes. The fact is, no other industry has been demonized to the extent that democrats have gone after them even though they're critical for the success of our economy. They always have been.
Contrary to how some democrats portray "Big Oil,' who actually own a small percentage of gas stations around the country, they have the best track record for delivering product on time, safely, at great prices, etc., which President Trump tapped into and is why his Administration was able to improve gasoline prices.
Have you heard a democrat successfully explain why prices went down under Trump? It's a conversation they avoid almost as much as they avoid answering why prices have gone up. Not everyone in the Democratic Party is trying to sell the American people on the Biden Administration not owning it. I greatly appreciate their honesty. We're in this together and we need to fix our problems.
One last thing for this post. For the life of me, I can't figure out why the Biden Administration doesn't source the oil we need from Canada instead of from countries who aren't U.S. friendly. My gosh, Iran wants to wipe us and Israel of the map. I thought Canada was an ally.
I listened to Sonya Savage, Canada's Finance Minister, talk about our situation, and she was shocked that the U.S. is shopping around the globe when she says they could turn a valve and have everything we need flowing down other pipelines between Canada and the U.S. that are already being used or at the very least start sending oil trucks immediately down our direction.
She wanted to know why the U.S. isn't even talking to them about their help. She said there was no need to sign any long-term contracts, they'd just like to help us get through our current issues and save the U.S. from becoming dependent on countries who are upset the U.S. is even in existence. As our economy goes, so goes Canada's to some extent because of all the trade we do with one another.
Sonya said that Canada was looking forward to using the XL Pipeline which could handle significantly more volume, and they were amazed that Biden nixed it not only from an economic perspective but also for national security reasons. I'm willing to drop all the citizenship requirements and have her take over as President of the United States. Quite frankly, I'm not used to this kind of aggressive talk coming out of Canada. I think this speaks volume and we should consider ourselves, forewarned.
