What they're trying to do is force their morals on the rest of us while they're not walking the talk. They stay in hotel rooms that costs thousands of dollars they eat meals that costs thousands of dollars. All this, while people are struggling to eat. If you've ever worked at a food kitchen you know their meals are very low-end. Cheese sandwiches are popular. I'm sick and tired of actors and entertainers who are living high on the hog while pointing their fingers at us saying we're less moral than them. It's disgusting.
We were once again lectured by entertainers at the Oscar's about social issues The thing is, they can help people in need anytime they want. They can give away as much money as they want. The homeless population in L.A. is horrific. They can pay whatever tax rate they want as long as they pay their minimum. If they believe that a 70% tax rate is fair then the IRS will gladly take their money.
What they're trying to do is force their morals on the rest of us while they're not walking the talk. I find it so hilarious that Democrats are now so hard-core about foreign policies. Obama and the Democrats were so weak in dealing with other countries that it was embarrassing. Russia invaded two countries. Obama did nothing. Russia partnered with the president of Syria and announced a no-fly zone which Obama honored. The day Trump took office he said he wouldn't honor it. Not only did we fly over Syria, we bombed them. Iran was crippled by sanctions yet Obama joined other countries that wanted sanctions lifted because they wanted to continue conducting trade with Iran. It was blatantly obvious that Obama got schooled. He couldn't make it a treaty with Iran, it ended up being an Agreement because not enough legislators would've supported it.
Anyhow, time and time again, Obama let the rest of the world own him yet now that Trump is in power, Democrats have completely flipped and want Trump to play hardball with foreign countries or else. They are a slippery bunch. Many far-left liberals (mostly young people), act like the U.S. sucks. In case you're wondering, approximately 1,000 people leave the U.S. each year and give up their citizenship yet we have 1.3 million (plus those trying to enter illegally), trying to become U.S. citizens each year. I'd say the evidence is overwhelming that the U.S. is a preferred place to live compared to all other countries in the world; pretty amazing!
Why do they hate our country so much? Why do they think we're so screwed up as a nation and that Nordic countries are better? The problem for them, if they tried to leave, is that countries like Sweden and Switzerland wouldn't take them in based on their immigration laws which are far more restrictive than ours. Unless you bring in some unique expertise in areas like biology, engineering, health, information technology, etc., they don't want you. I find it so funny that liberals are livid at CNN for hiring Sarah Isgur who used to work for Jeff Sessions. I applaud them for recognizing they needed to do something to try and bring in a conservative perspective.
But it begs the question, why would liberals be so mad? Isn't CNN supposed to be fair and balanced? Hasn't the mainstream media tried to convince everyone they're not biased yet these liberals are mad about one of the networks bringing in a conservative? It doesn't help the image CNN's trying to create in bringing Isgur in. Some liberals actually said they don't think that anyone so closely tied to politics should be involved in the news at that level but CNN and MSNBC are loaded with former employees from the Hillary campaign, the Obama Administration, and DNC. When it comes to some of these Democrats, if it weren't for double-standards, they wouldn't have any standards at all. The Democrat Party is in severe trouble. They're imploding. The DNC should've been well ahead of what's happening and now it's too late. If they did it the right way, they would've already defined their party's platform and forced presidential candidates who have a socialist agenda to form their own party. People like Ocasio-Cortez, Sanders, Warren, etc., are pushing policies that are even further left than what Democrats were comfortable with in the past and are certainly uncomfortable with now.
It's obvious the DNC is now scrambling to not be painted as a socialist party. I've been involved in politics for a long time and no one can accurately predict the future but there's no doubt in my mind that the very ideology that will help a Democrat get through the primaries will be the very policies that will cause them to lose even more electoral votes the next election. Swing states will swing to capitalism other socialism. Trump will win the election and if he's not around because Democrats were able to take him down, then we'll all be enjoying President Pence running with the agenda we already love. I listened to a debate this morning and it was horrific the way an African American liberal treated criminals like victims and policeman like criminals. This type of commentary is dangerous.
These police officers aren't protecting white citizens from black criminals they're protecting blacks from other blacks. They go into their communities to pursue justice for the blacks who were victimized. How could something so simple be turned around to where the police are the enemy? This is one of many problems with liberals. The very people who they say they're protecting are the very ones being hurt because of the negative consequences of their rhetoric. Most people have heard of the famous night club "Studio 54," that was located in Manhattan. Besides allowing in locals and everyday people all around the world (since it became the spot to visit), it was loaded with A-List celebrities from athletes, actors, artist, musicians, etc. Part of the excitement in going there was to see which celebrities were there and of course you could say you partied with them. Their DJ's were the best in the business and the studio's lighting was legendary. It had an eclectic array of customers.
The building had been around since 1927 and it was originally a theater and then CBS ran a radio show out of there then it turned into a television studio for them. The studio was purchased by Steve Rubell and Ian Schrager (college roommates from Syracuse University), in 1977 in order to create a nightclub. A lot of people don't know that the heyday of Studio 54 only lasted 33 months. The FBI raided their facilities and both men were arrested for tax evasion. Another man purchased it from them in 1980 (disco was fading), and it had moderate success so he sold it in 1984 and it's been used as a theater ever since. I find it amazing that a nightclub was so good that it's remembered by so many people especially considering it wasn't around that long. Even though the owners went down for tax evasion, what they created is amazing. What other nightclub do you know of that has had this kind of recognition around the world? When you have people coming from Paris who wanted to make sure they caught a Broadway play and visited Studio 54, that's quite amazing. Some Democrats, who believe the U.S. Constitution is an obstacle to their ideology, are pushing for the end to the Electoral College. Of course they want this, it would take away the will of most of the states in our Union and allow states with high populations like California, Illinois, and New York, dictate who the U.S. President will be; there would no longer be a Republican President. There would be no balance of powers. There would be no reason to hold presidential elections in most states because their votes wouldn't matter.
Liberals are livid that Hillary lost the election and immediately brought up that Trump shouldn't have won because Hillary won the popular vote but that's not how the system works. That's not how our Constitution works. Trump won convincingly with the electoral vote as a huge number of U.S. states wanted Trump to represent them. They can push all they want, but a popular vote for presidential elections isn't going to happen. After over two years of blockbuster stories from the mainstream media, let's go over their Russian Collusion promises compared to what Cohen said in the hearing: 1) They said Cohen went to Prague on Trump's behalf regarding Russia and he said he's never been there. 2) They said Cohen coordinated with WikiLeaks for the releasing of negative information on Clinton and the DNC, Cohen said he didn't. 3) They said Cohen had proof of illegal business dealings; he said he didn't. 4) They said Cohen had evidence that Trump was a racists; he didn't. 5) They said Cohen had proof of Russian collusion: he said he didn't. 6) They said Trump told him to lie to Congress; he said he didn't.
Cohen has made horrific remarks about Trump's character among other things and now a manuscript for a book he was writing was found and it had nothing but great things to say about Trump. Cohen said he changed his mind about Trump after Charlottesville but his manuscript stated otherwise; he loved Trump even after the riot. Cohen's a liar yet the mainstream media is making him out to be this great guy who finally wants to tell the truth. Will the mainstream media apologize for those blockbuster tales they've been telling for two years? Cohen cleared the matter, right? Or are they picking and choosing what was and what wasn't the truth that he was telling to Congress? They are a disgusting lot. Democrats and the mainstream media have been talking trash about Trump saying he took Kim Jung-Un at this word that he didn't have anything to do with what happened to Otto Wambier. First of all, Wambier would've never made it home if it weren't for Trump. Obama's foreign policy regarding issue after issue, was to do nothing. In reference to North Korea, Obama did nothing as they became a huge threat.
Of course Trump's going to say what he did about Wambier's case, but it doesn't mean he believes Jung-Un. How can you negotiate with someone if you verbally attack him? It can't be done. Was it more important to attack Jung-Un or try to stop his nuclear weapons ambitions? It's a no-brainer. Trump needs them to continue talks. Making a statement just to make a statement would do nothing to accomplish the Trump Administration's objective to protect the American people. I hate to say it but Otto is gone. Everyone (including North Korea), knows the truth about what they did to him. The Wambier family knows the truth and I'm sure that they'd like for Trump to punish North Korea somehow but to what end? We're not going to attack North Korea over it; that's never been any president's policy ever since the founding of our Republic. We already have crippling sanctions in place. Just what exactly do they want Trump to do? Trump is out for one thing and it isn't optics for political purposes, it's to keep us safe. |
