My neighbor, who's 78, got a new GPS that is amazing. Not only does it tell him how to get where he's trying to go, it also reminds him why he's going there in the first place. :)
Anyone who knows me, knows I like to try and make people smile and laugh everywhere I go. It's one of my purposes in life. I like to work out through lifting spirits. I love knowing that I might have brightened peoples' days and possibly improved their interaction with others because they are in better spirits. I know God has given me this path. At the end of the day, and we look at what we've accomplished, a little spirit lifting is an encouraging thing and something so easy to do. By the way, the Latin root of the word "Encourage," is to "Give heart." And of course the word "heart," was associated, and is still associated with, love.
Be the person in the customer service line who begins the interaction with a smile and kind word no matter how long you've been waiting. Has venting through going off on the employee ever worked in getting you in and out quicker? I'd say the chances are that venting didn't even help much at all. Be the one prepared with inspirational stories you've read heard or read about, that you can slide into conversations. I do this all the time because there are so many amazing stories of people, places, and things, throughout history, that people love to learn about...some of which I post. Basically, it's about doing a little homework to give people what they need, especially now, with so much mental and physical anguish taking place because of the COVID-19 Virus and the elections in general. God gave us his greatest commandment and that is to demonstrate "Love," to one another. This means he wants us to encourage others, to lift their spirits. There's only so many ways to make God proud, this is one of them that is so easy to do and selfishly provides the giver of such love a tremendous amount of peace and joy. May peace and joy be with you always! ABC Nightly World News, is still attacking Trump mercilessly. They said he lied about voter fraud, but he didn't. Keep in mind this is ABC (Anybody But Conservatives). They brought up that Trump is considering pardoning himself without stating he doesn't need to because he hasn't been convicted of a crime.
With all the major news going on in the world, ABC decides to divide our country even more by bringing up a hypothetical that makes no sense. They even said Trump would pardon his kids, but once again, they don't need it. So why say it? ABC lies every single night about economic and political news. Someone would've thought our economy was in terrible shape according to ABC. They are a disgusting organization. The Bingham Canyon Mine is the largest manmade excavation on Earth. The sprawling open pit mine, located about 14 miles southwest of Salt Lake City, has a colossal crater that is more than 2.5 miles wide, three quarters of a mile deep and covers over 1,900 acres. Because of its breathtaking and awesome magnitude the Bingham Canyon Mine is one of only two manmade objects on Earth that can be seen by astronauts from outer space—the other is the Great Wall of China! - Amazing Facts
There's a very strange, phenomenon going on in our country and it's so scary. Some Dems have completely lost their common sense and logic. I just finished listening to Democratic political pundits and they were arguing that there isn't wide-spread voter fraud so the Republican Party (Trump), should concede the election. One of them even admitted that based on what he saw on a video of an election facility in Georgia, that there was fraud, but it didn't cost Trump the election. Can you imagine if the roles were reversed, my what a different attitude they'd have.
But, these pundits know it's not a question of widespread voter fraud so they were misleading the audience. Of course it isn't systemic. It was never wide-spread, it was targeted towards swing states. Why in the world would Dems ever need to use widespread voter fraud? Why would they need to switch votes in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, etc., when those states are a given? So of course they can try and push the illogical argument that there isn't widespread voter fraud so don't worry about it, but it makes absolutely no sense. Either these political pundits are outrageously ignorant, or they think their constituents (the sheep), are. Maybe both? I guess both. Biden recently said that one of his first actions in office will be to allow people in public places (including schools), to go into the restroom of his or her choosing; of course in an effort to help the LGBTQ community. I don't know how many of these people are being negatively impacted by the issue but sometimes the cure is far worse than the disease. In other words, I would have the authority to use the women's restroom and they couldn't do anything about it as long as I say, that I identify with being a woman. I don't believe women would be comfortable with this and justifiably so as it makes their world a little more dangerous. I certainly don't want members of the LGBTQ community to not have the rights they deserve, but in this case, the solution would be dangerous.
From another perspective, and based on their mentality, I should be able to go to my local bank and get a minority loan. The bank manager would be forced to accept how I identify whether it's man/woman, black/white, etc. If you don't think we're already here, look around. Everyone better hope the Republicans keep the Senate, or the U.S., as we know it, will no longer exist. Some people don't recognize that they're blessed to be born in our country. Billions of people around the world, look at us and can't believe how wealthy we are; to almost all, the U.S. is the wealthiest nation they've ever heard of. African Americans living here, even in the projects, have better lifestyles than most Africans. Who do you think would be more inclined to trade places? I believe most African Americans would hate to live under the conditions of many people in Africa. Just the fact that they wouldn't have to walk miles to fill up a water bucket, I'd imagine they'd gladly move to the US. This is the country people from other countries are attracted to; they come in order to pursue wealth and prosperity. Common sense would tell me that if we weren't a great country, people wouldn't make the U.S. not only a vacation detitanation, but also, a preferred country to live in.
Do I have white privilege? According to millions of white Americans, living in places like the Appalachian's Mountains, white privilege doesn't exist. So who's right? Maybe there are arguments on both sides but the bottom line is regardless of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc., evidence abounds that all of us regardless of our circumstances in life, are blessed/privileged to have been born in the U.S. I'd strongly argue this point with anyone. And apparently the ones who need to hear my argument the most (not all), are Democrats and the mainstream media who for some strange reason, don't see our country in the same light as most. This is why Democrats never understood Trump's message of: "Make America Great Again!" They don't believe it was a miracle how this country formed in the first place, and they certainly don't believe we were ever a great nation; which I guess means there was no greatest generation of people either because their legacy is tied to our country. According to liberal ideology, I guess a great nation throughout the history of mankind has never existed. They sure set high standards when it comes to other people. America wouldn't exist right now if liberal ideology reigned supreme back then. They certainly wouldn't have been brave enough to take on Britain. These Libs even go back in time and set political correctness standards for people in history and then demonize them, tearing apart their legacy of what they did for all of us. Wow! Talk about being pompous. Talk about being pious. Deplorables do exist. It's just that Hillary was pointing her finger the wrong direction. They are shameless elitists. |
